Long fold

With the printed side out, fold the paper in half the long way. Crease hard, then unfold.

Short fold

Fold the short way, left edge to right edge. Crease, then open it flat again.

Make eight panels

Fold each short side in to meet the center crease like two little doors. Open the sheet all the way.

Cut the middle

Fold the short way once more. Cut along the center crease from the folded edge, stopping after one panel.

Pop it open

Unfold, then fold the long way again. Push the short ends toward each other so the slit opens into a plus sign.

Collapse into a book

Press the pages flat so the cover sits on top and the back cover on the bottom. Your little book is ready.
